Internachos is a student-led initiative based in Leiden. Our goal is to build a broad social community by organizing culinary activities. By cooking and eating together, we unite people of different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
In June 2021, we won the start-up competition called Project 071 led by the municipality and the Local Chamber of Associations. The competition focused on how to improve the well-being and health of the Leiden citizens. We decided we wanted to provide a solution to problems Dutch and international students were struggling with due to COVID-19. We hoped the solution could be dining together since you had to eat anyway you might as well do it together!

Hi, I'm Iona. I’m 25 years old and I have studied abroad, perhaps just like you right now! I know what it’s like and I’d love to share stories with you over some nice dinner. Since I always like to try something new, I’m curious of what you’ll bring to the table!
Hi! I'm Rosa. I am 26 years old and following the master in public international law. I have been on exchange to Canada and Oxford, making a lot of international friends, and by setting up Internachos I hope you will be able to do that as well. Hope to meet you all at our activities!
